Unique to Heart of Hualalai is a modern design with tropical vernacular architecture. The house is situated in one of Kona’s most desirable locations in the Kona coffee belt. Feel a world away, yet close to everything as the home is located just 10 minutes from downtown Kona and local beaches. The post-and-beam, raw-cut cedar, structures take full advantage of ocean breezes and the property’s 1,000 ft., cooler, elevation. Heart of Hualalai is sited strategically across its park-like grounds, and hidden from the street within it's gated compound. Oversized posts support lofty ceilings, a pattern echoed outside by rare native tropical trees. Expansive views of the ocean, coastline and garden are ever present, inside and out. The two interconnected structures: main house (kitchen/LR/DR/3BR/2BA) and a master cottage suite (LR/1BR/1BA), together with multiple lanais and breezeway sitting area, total over 4,000 square feet of indoor and covered outdoor living space. There are many cozy nooks and thoughtful built-ins throughout.

Heart of Hualalai has unrestricted ocean and coastal views from Keauhou Bay in the south, to the Kona airport in the north. There is nothing quite as soul soothing as enjoying our epic sunsets and gazing at the twinkling lights of Kona town below.

Heart of Hualalai has all of the earmarks of thoughtful and creative tropical design including beautiful hand-crafted French and clerestory windows, high ceilings, raw-cut cedar walls, numerous built-in seats and nooks, and gorgeous views out of every window. The home incorporates materials consistent with its tropical ethos, including solid mahogany, teak and koa cabinets, ipe hardwood floors, and fossil-inspired porcelain tile. The open kitchen is a chef’s delight configured for serious cooking and entertaining. A variety of garden paths meander through the terraced garden at Heart of Hualalai. The property also features a wood-fired pizza oven, two laundry centers, luggage storage room, two outdoor showers and numerous mosaic features. 
 
Heart of Hualalai’s provides an immersive audio and video experience throughout. Each living space and bedroom is equipped with Sonos speakers and 4K TV/Apple TVs. Cable service is provided through the Spectrum app. The office nook, in the cottage, has a dedicated 40” 4K monitor, X-chair, dock/attachments for PC and Mac laptops, keyboards/mice, wireless laser printer, etc.
